Patrick Schurig 66b2f176af Merge fix/drop-waveshare-from-stable into landing-silo 
Keeps the nightly candidate free of a plugin that nothing builds and no
package ships. It remains in experimental-silo.

main is deliberately left untouched for now: it will lose the plugin
through the normal promotion, when that promotion is decided.
